TikTok Shop Design is a global design organization shaping the future of content commerce through user experience, AI-enabled innovation, and scalable design systems. We create end-to-end product experiences across the commerce ecosystem, for consumers, merchants, creators, and operators, covering everything from content discovery and shopping decisions to business growth and commerce services.

Our mission is to make commerce simpler, more trustworthy, and more creative. Design is a strategic driver of that growth, helping consumers discover products more easily, merchants grow their businesses more efficiently, and creators find more opportunities.

You will work at the intersection of user experience, business growth, AI innovation, and global scale, helping define what AI-native product design looks like across the full commerce ecosystem.

We aim to bring discovery, inspiration, and joy back to shopping by making TikTok the leading, on-trend commerce platform of choice for brands, creators, and shoppers. We are an entrepreneurial team, passionate about shaping the future of shopping.

About the Role
With more than 1 billion loyal users globally, TikTok is the ideal platform to deliver a brand new and exciting shopping experience to our users. The Category Manager role is responsible for scaling a book of enterprise partners in the Elevated Home category, and driving topline revenue growth for TikTok's US Commerce business.

Responsibilities:
- Acquire and incubate merchants to support category growth
- Discover innovative collaborative models that align to the merchant's short-term and long-term development plans, and invest platform resources effectively and efficiently
- Solve key challenges in business growth by strong collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Employ a consultative approach by offering strategic content, operations, creator/affiliate/agency partner, merchandising, and logistics solutions to all sellers
- Update active sellers on TikTok Shop product developments and new promotional opportunities

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in e-commerce business
- Track record of delivering & exceeding sales, GMV, or other commercial goals
