“What I love most about working at Capital One is the environment. Capital One has brought out the best parts of me because of the environment they create – from the people, to the workplace, to the support networks. I’ve made some awesome friends working here.”

“Capital One’s culture is unlike anywhere I’ve experienced. I genuinely feel like we are a family and we care for each other as people. That shows up in everything from things like benefits to our workplace amenities (fitness centers, mothers’ rooms, bikes!) to how our leaders lead from the heart.”

“One of the first things I noticed about Capital One was how open to learning everyone was. Regardless of your job level or title, people genuinely value your perspectives and want to make the best decisions for our customers. I also felt (and still feel) like I am never the smartest person in the room – I’m surrounded by people who are incredibly bright, curious and strive for excellence. I love being in an environment where those around me constantly challenge me to do better.”

      Parental Leave
New mothers can receive 18 weeks of 100% paid Maternity Leave. The 18 weeks will be broken down as 10 weeks of Short-Term Disability and 8 weeks of Parental Leave. Associates have a full calendar year after the birth or placement of their new child to use their 8 weeks of Parental Leave, and can take it all at once or in a minimum of 2-week increments. Associates can even use 2 of those weeks prior to the expected arrival (pre-partum or pre-placement) of their child.
